| Completed 8/06 This custom kitchen mixes maple cabinets that are dramatically finished in both black and off-white color lacquer paint. Adding warmth and softening the effect of the black and white cabinetry, the island is made with light stained Rustic Alder. This same natural wood is used for a built-in cabinet in the kitchen’s dinning area. To further balance the dark and light color cabinets, the color of the counter tops are varied with a cream quartz over the black cabinets and a black textured stone quartz over the cream cabinets. This kitchen boasts many extras including a hidden dishwasher, floor to ceiling pantry, built-in microwave, and a custom hood vent that allows for additional cabinet space. |
